Bio and Experience
John David graduated from the Academy of Hair Design and has been a professional barber for six years. He is a first-generation Mexican-American from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. He got into barbering to support his family while participating in pastoral ministry at his church in West Salem. He and his wife own and operate the business and do ministry as a family.

JEREMY LABRADO (Tier One)
Bio and Experience
Jeremy is 23 years old and has been a barber for five years, graduating from Johnny Matthew's Barber College in Salem. He grew up in Fall City and now lives in West Salem, spending time with his wife Shayla, one-year-old daughter Brinley, and a baby boy on the way. He likes being a business owner, setting his schedule, and balancing family time, which is why he started "Labrado Cuts."

Jeremy will respect your time and treat you how he likes to be treated by others. He values punctuality and communicating with his clients and aims to understand what they want for their exact style.
Skin fades and taper fades are a few of his specialties. And he believes in 30-minute haircuts that are precise while giving his clients the right look.

ALEX GARBODEN (Tier One)
Bio and Experience
Alex started cutting hair in 2013 in the barracks while he was in the Marine Corps. He graduated from Phagans' School of Beauty and has been professionally cutting hair for three years. He specializes in skin fades, curly hair, and trendy haircuts.

Alex is very punctual and detail-oriented. He has high standards and takes extra time to make a haircut perfect. He was born and raised in Salem and is a fantasy nerd who likes Lord of the Rings, D&D, and Renaissance Fairs. He's always learning and doing something new with his craft.
Benny Barber
BEN MARTINEZ (Tier One)
Bio and Experience
Ben has been cutting hair since 2019. He graduated from Johnny Matthew's Barber College and specializes in men's fades, mullets, and beard trims.

What You Can Expect
Ben is a guy who can find a nerdy conversation to have his clients -- anime, gaming, and movies - are among his favorite topics. He also likes to hear about new places to eat and is always up for trying different foods. His main goal is to ensure his clients get the haircut they pictured when they booked their appointment.

QUINCEY MURRAY (Tier Two)
Bio and Experience
Quincey Murray is from La Grande, Oregon, and recently graduated from Johnny Matthew's Barber College. He is in his first year of barbering and is our only left-handed barber in the shop. Quincey has a big heart for working with people with disabilities, giving time and patience to all clients.

What You Can Expect
Quincey is easy to work with and will talk to you about music, especially classic rock and funk. If you get him started on sports, you'll learn about his favorite teams - the San Antonio Spurs, Anaheim Angels/Ducks, and New York Jets.

AMBER WEBB (Tier One)
Bio and Experience
Amber has been in the industry for 20 years, graduating from the Academy of Hair Design Inc. She loves meeting new people and getting to know who they are, creating a cut and style that works for their lives. She is trained to work with all hair types and textures - men's, women's, and children's. She also enjoys doing anything with a straight razor, especially beards!

Marsel Upton
MARSEL UPTON (Tier Two)
Bio and Experience
Marsel is a 30-year-old licensed barber born and raised in Portland with nearly a decade of experience after graduating from Blended Barber College. His passion for barbering is only surpassed by his love for basketball and commitment to giving back to the community. When he's not at the shop or vibing with his family, he's actively involved in grassroots youth basketball, a cause he holds dear.

Marsel looks to give consistent, personalized haircuts that are on point with the vision of his clients. He specializes in taper fades and beards while being a student of skin fades and the longer gentleman style on top. He has a wide range of interests, including music, sports (basketball and football), gaming, gym training, and higher education.

"Live to cut, cut to live." Jeff started cutting hair five years ago and recently graduated Johnny Matthews to become a licensed professional.

Irene Osorio (Tier Two)
Bio and Experience
Irene is 28-years-old and has been professionally cutting hair since 2016, after graduating from Paul Mitchell Beauty School. She values work-life balance and spending time with her little family of four - her son, daughter, and hubby. Her favorite part of her work is meeting new people and being a part of their lives, even if it is a small part of caring for their hair.

Irene gives her clients of all ages undivided attention and likes ensuring they are relaxed and have a good experience. She is mindful of the time and values punctuality. Communication is everything to her, and she does a full consultation before getting started.
